Absolutely recommend these guys! We turned up spontaneously with our old van for wof and service not knowing what needs to be done. They talked us through it, very honest and incredibly quick! They even took the time to figure out a weird quirk with our lock which turned out to be a spring not doing its thing. It's pretty clear they look into the little things. It only took them one and a half day to get our van up and running. New tires and all for a fair price as well. We're super thankful and proudly carry their sticker in our car window!

My motorhome has had not only one issue but two when we left Hanmer Springs in South Island : brake warning light is ON and brake pads seizure ( metal to metal technically ). All the way to Picton, we tried to fit in any repair garage but no luck, either fully booked and need to wait until next week or parts can't catch up on time. So managed and careful driving to catch on-board to the North Island bound dawn ferry. When we get off the ferry and soon drive to Freeway RV centre in Plimmerton where we have referred to and hope to get it repaired in first place. However, been told by them that they can't do it ( not mechanical ) and refer me to nearby Garage Monkey...We are not Welly locals and have no idea who and where to get the job done ASAP....so give it a try. Long story short, finally Garage Monkey Kevin and professional teams solved my emergency all at once and done it properly within 4 hours including order parts so that we may come home safely as well as quickly. During repair, we have prepared in mind that won't be cheap but surprisingly that none of parts nor jobs have over charged in such circumstances are very much appreciated. Especially they are willing to accommodate us outside of their schedule is just not thank enough indeed. Highly recommended for sure. Nice people, job done, good price with treats to carry on...what you want more ?
